Visited before covid when this site had a reception / someone on site. I was very sad to see that the site was only offering a park up overnight this year. The toilets/showers are shut. Tokens can be obtained from a well hidden ticket machine, €11 euros expensive for the facilties offered I feel. There is grey water dumping available but you have to pay a further €3s to empty the toilet cassette. Really sad to see the site neglected, was lovely before.
I'm an excellent location, didn't stay here in the end up, went to the aire on top of the hill at the 360 cinema instead.
The toilets were closed only facilities were waste disposal. Water available for 2 euros, parking was pay by meter at toilet block. Flat pitches on varied levels. Turn into site and the exit tight. On the exit its a bit of a hill start to get away lol. Its in a gleaming location in the town but like I said stayed at the other aire instead. Easier enter exit, toilets open there and only a 5 minute walk to town
Brilliant for the town. Be careful of manoeuvres on site v tight. Were 9m MoHo Needed wife on lookout. Has toilet but u need own facilities. Grey/black dump and water available. Would use again
This used to be a great municipal campsite perfect for spending time in Arromanche. Now they've ripped out all the grass and made it camping cars only. Absolutely disgusting vandalism. I will not be spending my time and money in Arromanche again.
No smell of sewage on site. However, there was quite a pong in the village centre, which might be related to seaweed? Some of the parking ( less than half) was clearly sloping. The rest seems to be mostly level. There is a service point vending water for two euros. There is a tap nearby missing its handle, but can be turned by a spanner! Few minutes walk to town. New 360 degrees cinema showing film about the DDay landings for 7euro, recommended.
This is a great Aire. 11€ a night including water and waste. Showers and toilets are open in June, not sure if they are open all year. Plenty of space and a 10 minute stroll into town.
Arrived, parked up, got booked in, shown to our spot which was a very good size, three tents and an event shelter and we parked our van on the pitch too. Unbelievably clean facilities and the cleaners were absolutely lovely! All staff were …
Good place for one night stop over. Pitches small and slanted, 11 euro for 24hrs. Service area 2 euros for water, no ehu.
